• A great start is to have references for me to look through and gather ideas from. It’s much easier to visualize a concept if we can both look at a starting off point. Places like Google, Pinterest, and Deviant Art are great resources to find artwork, other tattoos, and ideas.

  • Have a spot on your body in mind. If you aren't sure, narrow it down to two definite places (e.g., inner forearm, top of thigh).

  • Keep your budget in mind regarding the size of your tattoo. My hourly rate is around $150 and while smaller pieces are done more quickly, they are also less detailed.

  • Appointments are usually booked months before the actual session. Please be patient, this will be on your body for the rest of your life.

  • Additionally, cover up tattoos are much more difficult to work with and need a bit more creativity in order to achieve the actual “cover up”. A certain amount of flexibility is appreciated with these sessions. Cover ups often require a tattoo that is considerably bigger and darker than the tattoo it will be covering.
